How to Join
The FFA is an integral part of the agricultural education program in Tennessee. To join the FFA you must be enrolled in an agricultural education course in your local high school. Contact your school's counselor or agricultural education instructor to enroll in agricultural education and join the FFA.
Start a New Chapter
If your school does not have an agricultural education program, take steps to open a program in your school. In order to accomplish this task, we strongly recommend that you contact the staff of the Tennessee FFA Association to express your interest and ask for assistance on regulations, requirements and resources for planning a new program. The agricultural educators at MTSU, TSU, TTU, UTK and UTM can also be helpful.
Contact state staff to start a chapter today:

Middle, Courtney Halfacre
West, Stuart Watson
Unless a chapter is an affiliate chapter, Tennessee FFA members pay $12 to cover state ($5) and national ($7) dues which includes a subscription to the FFA New Horizons Magazine. Middle Tennessee members pay an extra $1 and West Tennessee members pay an extra $3 to their region to cover regional expenses.
