The 2026 Tennessee FFA State Star Tour officially began on Monday, June 8, as Tennessee's five State Stars embarked on a week celebrating agricultural excellence across the Volunteer State. Presented by Farm Credit Mid-America, the day began with orientation, where the group prepared for the week ahead before traveling to the Tennessee Department of Agriculture to meet with Commissioner Andy Holt and department leadership while exploring the agency's role in serving Tennessee agriculture. The evening concluded with a visit to Tennemo Rice Company, Tennessee's only rice farm and mill, where the State Stars learned how the Schultz family has built a successful value-added agricultural business rooted in Tennessee agriculture.
