National FFA Week and the Tennessee FFA Goodwill Tour started in the best way, on the road celebrating the people and partners who keep agricultural education strong in Tennessee.
We were honored to spend time with Kathy Mitchell Garrett and Melanie Mitchell Gunter and reflect on the legacy of their father and longtime Tennessee FFA State Advisor Kenneth K. Mitchell, whose service shaped opportunities for countless FFA members.
We also visited Tosh Farms in Henry, TN and met with Tennessee Department of Agriculture Commissioner Andy Holt, highlighting the leadership and support that helps Tennessee FFA continue to grow.
This tour is about connection, gratitude, and the shared belief in FFA members and their future as leaders of the agriculture industry.
