The 2026 Tennessee FFA State Star Tour concluded on Thursday, June 11, with a day celebrating Tennessee agriculture and the leaders shaping its future. The first stop was Pearson Farms, where 2025 Tennessee FFA State Star in Agricultural Placement Wyatt Pearson welcomed this year's State Stars to his family's eighth-generation farming operation. The group toured the farm and learned how the Pearson family produces melons, tobacco, pumpkins, hay, and a variety of other crops while carrying on a rich agricultural legacy. The State Stars then visited Farm Credit Mid-America, the presenting sponsor of the State Star Tour and Tennessee FFA's top corporate supporter, where they learned how the cooperative provides financial services and resources that help farmers, agribusinesses, and rural communities succeed. The week concluded with the annual State Star Farmer Luncheon, held in celebration of Carter Major, Tennessee FFA State Star Farmer, who earned the highest honor a Tennessee FFA member can achieve. Family, friends, supporters, and industry leaders gathered to recognize Carter's outstanding accomplishments and celebrate the future of Tennessee agriculture.
