Day 2 of the Tennessee FFA Goodwill Tour was a great reminder of why these visits matter. Every stop and every conversation came back to one thing: creating real opportunities for students.
We kicked off the morning with Crockett County FFA at the newly-opened Crockett County CTE General Store, where we saw “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn” in action. Students aren’t just talking about skills, they are making products and selling them in the store, gaining real experience in agribusiness, entrepreneurship, customer service, and career readiness.
We also stopped by Tennessee Tractor to say thank you for supporting agricultural education and Tennessee FFA.
Next, we visited TCAT Northwest in Covington to learn more about training in Digital Agronomy and Farming Operations Technology from Program Instructor Todd Reeder.
We ended the day at the University of Tennessee at Martin for dinner, where the State Officers shared their Goodwill Tour presentation and had the chance to connect with West Tennessee members.
We were thankful for the warm welcomes and proud of the people and partnerships helping Tennessee FFA Association members lead, learn, and serve.
