On Thursday, the Tennessee FFA State Officer Team kicked off the day at the 44th Annual Tennessee FFA Legislative Breakfast at The Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. This signature event, held during National FFA Week, brought together dedicated FFA members, educators, supporters, and esteemed members of the Tennessee General Assembly. Special thanks to the Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association and members of the Tennessee Bankers Association for their support of the FFA Legislative Breakfast. We were honored as the House of Representatives recognized FFA Week and the accomplishments of this year’s State Officer team, with special thanks to State Representative Renea Jones for her support of agricultural education. The team then took to the airwaves with interviews at RFD-TV, sharing the impactful work of Tennessee FFA and the importance of agricultural education. A visit to Tennessee Valley Authority followed, where we learned about their innovative energy solutions and commitment to sustainability. They concluded the day with an inspiring tour of Cul2vate Farm, where they witnessed how community agriculture is transforming lives through food security and personal growth.
