On Tuesday, The East group started the day with a breakfast at the University of Tennessee Herbert College of Agriculture with area chapters, followed by a visit to McCoy Construction & Forestry to learn about the latest in construction and forestry equipment. They then met with the Tennessee Nursery Landscape Association, during the visit TNLA presented their annual sponsorship check for the Nursery Operations Proficiency, supporting FFA members pursuing excellence in nursery management. The group wrapped up the day with a dinner and tour at Turner & Sons Nursery. Meanwhile, the West group spent the day visiting the Munford FFA Chapter and touring their chapter's facilities. They also met with Tennessee Corn Growers, which collects and administers the corn checkoff funds—a special fund that supports market development, promotion, education, and research.
