Day 4 of the Tennessee FFA Goodwill Tour, sponsored by the Tennessee Farmers Cooperative Foundation, brought together hundreds of FFA members at three universities and included incredible visits to both farmers and agribusinesses.
The West Tennessee group learned the history of Hatcher Family Dairy, the tireless dedication required to farm dairy cattle, and how the Hatcher family has cast an innovative vision for many years, leading to its success.
The East Tennessee group started the day with breakfast and hundreds of FFA members at the Tennessee Tech School of Agriculture Hyder-Burks Pavilion.
The State Officer team reunited for a luncheon at Tennessee State University with even more FFA members from across Middle Tennessee and also visited Ingram Barge Company to learn their crucial role in transporting agricultural products, ventured to Rutherford County to learn how Rutherford County Farm Bureau is developing, fostering, promoting, and protecting agriculture in their area, and finished the day with fellowship at Middle Tennessee State University over dinner!
