The 2023 Tennessee FFA Grill Masters Beef Barbecue Competition was held Monday, August 21, 2023. This contest is presented by the Tennessee Beef Industry Council. FFA chapters competed for remarkable prizes including a smoker grill, cast iron skillets, and cash awards. The top three chapters were: 1. Oakland, 2. Brighton, 3. Franklin County. All participants completed the Masters of Beef Advocacy (MBA) program from the Beef Checkoff in order to become strong advocates for the beef community.
