  • Describe your SAE:
My SAE is a combination between Horse Science, Diversified Livestock, and Ag Sales. I show horses, live on a farm with horses and cattle, and I also work at our family owned feed store.

    What is your favorite CDE:
My favorite CDE is Horse Evaluation. I have grown up around horses all my life and started in the fourth grade judging them. I continued to judge throughout my high school career. My junior year my team members and I were State Winners and placed in the top five at Nationals.

    Most memorable FFA Moment:
My most memorable FFA moment is going to Camp Clements for my very first time. I wish that I could experience as a member instead of a State Officer. I truly enjoyed seeing the banks of the Caney Fork, nestled in the foothills of the beautiful mountains and seeing the FFA members across the state come together and learning in a positive way.

    Who is your role model?
Who is your role model? My role model is my Mother. She is one of my biggest fans no matter what I do. She is always there to give me advice when I need it. I hope to one day become an inspirational mom with my children just as she is with me. I love you, Mom.

    What are your career plans?
I am a freshman at Tennessee Tech University where I am working on my Agriculture Education Degree to one day become an Agriculture Teacher.

What advice would you give to a greenhand?
Greenhand Members have a great opportunity to become active in their FFA Chapter. I would encourage each Greenhand member to be involved as much as they possibly can. If I could go back, I would be in FFA all four years of High School. Greenhand Members take advantage of every moment you can have as a FFA member.
